Green lumber warps, checks, and moves. Kiln-dried lumber stays stable. Our solar kiln holds 2,000–2,400 board feet and uses natural solar heat to pull moisture out of freshly milled wood.

Do you offer kiln drying?
Yes. Our solar kiln holds 2,000 to 2,400 board feet. We dry to 7–8% moisture content for interior applications and 12–15% for exterior. Add approximately 45 days for kiln-dried material.
